It allows a mobile device to be synchronised with either a desktop PC, or a server running Microsoft Exchange Server or Kerio MailServer. All its main functionality is included in Windows Vista and newer.ActiveSync is a synchronization program developed by Microsoft. Please note that ActiveSync is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. Users can copy files to and from the device. There are options for synchronizing personal notes, contact lists, photos, documents, messages and other types of data. Personal calendar entries are available as well. The Outlook email client contents can be transferred over to the phone via the Microsoft Exchange Server. Moreover, it is possible to connect the phone via Bluetooth or infrared port. You are able to transfer data over the USB cable or docking station. Users can download iTunes to transfer files to an iPhone. It is worth mentioning that this app does not work with Apple devices. Additionally, you are prompted to install the driver package for the mobile device before starting the utility. The Microsoft Outlook email client is necessary to access all features. Modern operating systems are not supported. This software can be set up on Windows XP or earlier.
It is compatible only with obsolete Windows Mobile phones. ActiveSync is a Windows program that allows users to transfer data from mobile devices to the computer and vice versa.
